The CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy is professionally accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) through July 1, 2032.

Pursuant to New York State Education Law § 6206(8), the CUNY Board of Trustees is authorized to confer degrees established by law, as well as additional degrees authorized by the New York State Board of Regents. All academic programs offered by CUNY SPH are approved and registered by the New York State Education Department. Degree-granting authority for CUNY SPH programs resides with the CUNY Graduate School and University Center, which confers degrees on behalf of CUNY SPH.
