CUNY SPH is an Institutional Member of the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD), an independent professional development, training and mentoring community for faculty, postdocs and doctoral students, dedicated to supporting academics in making successful transitions throughout their careers.

National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD) training teaches concrete strategies for increasing productivity and pays special attention to the challenges of underrepresented faculty. Through monthly training workshops, and multi-week courses, NCFDD aims to help faculty, postdocs, and doctoral students achieve outstanding research and writing productivity while maintaining work-life balance.

CUNY SPH’s institutional membership provides access to professional development training, support from external mentors, and access to a variety of resources to help our faculty, postdocs, and doctoral students achieve success throughout all stages of their academic careers.

How to Activate Your CUNY SPH Sponsored Membership:

  1. Go to https://www.facultydiversity.org/join. Then select “CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy” from the drop-down menu and click “Continue.”
  2. On the CUNY SPH landing page, click “Activate My Membership.”
  3. Complete the brief registration form and be sure to provide your CUNY SPH email address.
  4. Once you have submitted your registration information you will receive a confirmation email. Click “Activate Account” in the confirmation email.
