Dr. J. Robin Moon is Senior Director of System Integration at Bronx Partners for Healthy Communities, where she oversees care delivery system integration, network management, innovation initiatives, business process engineering, and program evaluation for the New York State Delivery System Reform Incentive Program (DSRIP), state-wide Medicaid transformation demonstration. A seasoned operator and executive manager, she is a social epidemiologist with an expertise in cardiovascular disease research and prevention policy/program for adult/aging population. She was Chief Operating Officer at Grameen PrimaCare where she spearheaded the creation of a single-payer primary care practice for immigrant women in Queens. Previously, she was at the New York City Mayor’s Office, where she served the Bloomberg Administration as the Senior Health Policy Advisor. Her work involved policies in NYS Medicaid redesign initiatives for primary care and behavioral health integration, supportive housing/medically homeless, and justice-involved population healthcare in the City.
Dr. Moon has led a wide range of domestic and international research and evaluation initiatives in public health, and developed tools and programs to measure health, economic and social impact. Her 20+ years of diverse experience spans in corporate, non-profit/philanthropy, and governmental organizations. She continues to consult for and advise large philanthropies and non-profit health/human service organizations.
Dr. Moon holds a Doctor of Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health, a Master of Public Health from Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health, a Master of International Affairs from Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Chicago.
