We invite you to join us for a COVID-19 vaccine town hall on Thursday, February 19th, from 6:30PM to 8:00PM. The event is free and open to the public. Our esteemed speakers are:
• Dr. Oni Blackstock, Founder and Executive Director, Health Justice
• Dr. Robert Fullilove, Professor, Sociomedical Sciences at the Columbia University Medical Center, Associate Dean, Community and Minority Affairs
• Angela Soto, NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
During our conversation, we will discuss COVID-19 updates, the science behind the vaccines, the need for fairness in vaccine distribution, and frequently asked questions. We will reserve ample time for question-and-answer sessions with our public health experts and hope to start an ongoing conversation about the COVID-19 vaccine.
This Town Hall Meeting is hosted by the Institute for Healthy Equity Research at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, the CUNY School of Public Health and Harlem Health Initiative, Mask Transit, and Sigma Gamma Rho – NYC Alumnal- Kappa Sigma.
Log-in information for the Zoom call will be sent to you in advance of the event. If you have questions, email harlemhealth@sph.cuny.edu.
