On December 12, Dana Watnick, a PhD student in the Community Health and Health Policy track, successfully defended her dissertation, “Acceptability of a vaginal ring to prevent HIV and pregnancy: Integrating multiple qualitative methods,” with Dr. Diana Romero, Dr. Heidi Jones, and Dr. Laura Bauman serving as committee members.
“It has been an invaluable experience to receive my doctorate from CUNY SPH,” Watnick says. “I am grateful for the support and high level of scholarship of my classmates and our faculty, especially my committee members. I look forward to many future collaborations with my CUNY colleagues as I continue my research career.”
Watnick is Director of Research at the Center for AIDS Research, Behavioral Science Core at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
