The systems science journal club is a monthly meeting space for CUNY SPH students and faculty to come together and learn more about systems modeling methods and discuss their applications to public health research.

This club meets once per month to discuss a selected systems science-related journal article, book chapter, news article, etc. The club will also be hosting other types of events in future meetings, including guest speakers, seminars, and workshop events.

On Thursday, October 13 from 1-2pm we will be meeting over zoom to discuss the following article:

“Modeling global loss of life from climate change through 2060” by Jack Homer

We hope you can join us! The meeting will be offered in hybrid format with an in-person meeting option at the CUNY SPH campus room 503 and an option to join virtually on zoom.

Please RSVP to this event using the provided Eventbrite link, where you will gain access to the zoom link for the meeting along with a link to the article.

This event is open to all CUNY SPH students and faculty. Our goal is to make this an open space for anyone interested in exploring systems science methods, regardless of prior experience.
