Join the Office of Sponsored Programs and Research, for a special set of presentations by four current CUNY SPH doctoral students as they share their experiences in securing external research funding. This event will offer a look into the challenges, strategies, and successes each student has encountered while navigating the complexities of external funding.
Sean Pratt, Thinh Vu, Jhanvi Solanki, and Aisha King will cover key topics including how to identify funding sources, craft compelling proposals, manage interviews, and leverage professional networks. Each presentation will provide practical guidance, offering insights to help attendees confidently approach their own funding pursuits.
Following the presentations, a panel discussion, and Q&A session will allow for a deeper dive into each speaker’s experience. This workshop is designed to empower students with actionable strategies and essential resources to support their efforts in securing external research funding.
