Webinar #2: Making Universal Health Care Work: Cross-Regional Insights

The CUNY Center for Immigrant, Refugee and Global Health (CIRGH) and the CUNY Urban Food Policy Institute (CUFPI) are excited to invite you to the second webinar in our series highlighting the relevance of universal health care as both a local and global public health priority.

Ahead of the 2027 High-Level Meeting on Universal Health Coverage (UHC), this is the second in a series of webinars exploring progress towards UHC and the strategies needed to achieve it by 2030. It draws on perspectives from Argentina, Kenya, Nepal, and New York City to examine the challenges and solutions shaping UHC implementation, including financial reforms, service delivery, and outreach to vulnerable and marginalized populations excluded from formal health systems.

The series provides a platform for key stakeholders advancing strategies to achieve UHC, and connects research, practice, and policy to accelerate progress toward the 2030 UHC targets set in the Sustainable Development Goals.
