CSTE provides training opportunities and professional development for applied epidemiologists at all levels of experience, from students and early career professionals to State Epidemiologists and also conducts assessments of national epidemiologic capacity to identify gaps and recommendations for strengthening the public health workforce.
Join representatives from the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) to get your questions answered about CSTE’s flagship training program – the Applied Epidemiology Fellowship (AEF), which provides a two-year post-graduate experience at a state or local health department, and other CSTE workforce development activities, which include programs such as CSTE Mentorship Program, Data Science Team Training (DSTT) Program, CSTE LEAD (Leading Epidemiologists, Advancing Data), and other resources to support epidemiologic practice.
