Title of Presentation: Mendelian randomization – an introduction, example and potential bias
Presenter John Croft will provide a brief introduction of Mendelian randomization (MR) and use the example of the effect of adiposity on breast cancer to discuss the potential selection bias of in some MR studies. Is adiposity a protective factor or a risk factor for breast cancer?
Dr. Kezhen Fei will present “Racial/ethnic majority status in birth country modifies the association between race/ethnicity and influenza vaccination among New York City adults.”
