Join us for a three-part series of book talks celebrating the launch of the second edition of the anthology, Birthing Justice: Black Women, Pregnancy, and Childbirth. Each part will feature a panel discussion with the anthology co-editor and contributors, moderated by the event host. The panelists will articulate how their contributions propel the ongoing movements for birthing and reproductive justice.
About this talk:
This first talk in the series will be held in Harlem and is co-hosted by the Sexual & Reproductive Justice Hub at CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy and Black Women Birthing Justice. This book talk will feature a panel with the book co-editor, Dr. Chinyere Oparah, and contributing authors Dr. Sayida Peprah-Wilson, Biany Pérez and Haile Cole, with Dr. Lynn Roberts serving as moderator
