AHEC Scholars Info Session

Join this session to learn about AHEC Scholars which is a program for health professions students interested in supplementing their education by gaining additional knowledge and experience in rural and/or underserved urban settings. Students should be currently enrolled in a health professions degree or certificate program and be two years from program or degree completion. Program includes:

• 40 hours per year community-based virtual internship placement
• 40 hours didactic sessions on pertinent health topics
• 5 hours virtual interprofessional exercise with BQLI AHEC Scholars and health professionals
• 2 year preferred commitment, however flexibility possible
