Dean Ayman El-Mohandes discusses vaccine mandates on NBC

Cities, states, schools, and businesses are all now mulling whether to require vaccinations for employees and visitors. To discuss why these mandates are under consideration, Dean Ayman El-Mohandes joined Michael Gargiulo on NBC’s The Debrief.  

Dr. El-Mohandes, a board-certified pediatrician, discussed vaccine reluctance and emphasized the importance of getting vaccinated for Covid-19 as soon as possible, especially in light of the delta variant.

“It is much safer to get the vaccine than to get the disease,” Dr. Mohandes said.
