Hiring Steps

The hiring process for RF Employees is governed by the CUNY Research Foundation and coordinated by the CUNY SPH Office of Sponsored Programs and Research (SPaR).

Hiring Steps:

  1. Ensure that you have sufficient funding budgeted for the proposed new hire. If not, please work with your SPaR Grants Officer to request the necessary budget adjustment from the sponsor.
  2. To initiate a new hire, please fill in the Position Request Form with as much detail as available. Please note that the hiring process takes several days, even with prompt submission of all paperwork; therefore, please submit a new hire request no less than two weeks before the proposed start date.
