An international MPH online
Advance your career with an online Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the City University of New York’s Graduate School of Public Health & Health Policy (CUNY SPH), in partnership with the venerable Universidad de Alcalá (UAH). This collaborative degree program allows master’s students to pursue a degree with a global perspective as you learn from faculty based in New York City and Madrid. Upon successfully completing the requirements of the program, students will be awarded a Master of Public Health degree by CUNY SPH.
Students accepted into the program will pursue one of two MPH concentrations currently being offered in this program: Community Health or Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Students will begin their studies at CUNY SPH, where they will complete eight (8) online courses (24 credits in total), after which they will complete six (6) online courses at UAH (the equivalent of 18 CUNY SPH credits, or 25.7 European Credit Transfer System credits in total). Students will be expected to complete all degree requirements within three (3) years.
Designed for busy working professionals
The CUNY SPH online MPH in partnership with UAH provides the flexibility that working professionals need, as well as unprecedented affordability. Online courses are asynchronous, meaning that students can attend classes whenever their schedules allow. And as public universities, CUNY SPH and UAH offer tuition rates substantially below private institutions.
Services to ensure an optimal international learning experience
As a student in the program, you’ll benefit from the comprehensive student support offered at both CUNY SPH and UAH. In addition to the second year being taught in Spanish, a bilingual advisor will guide you through your experience from start to finish, and the faculty directors at both institutions are deeply invested in ensuring the success of the students in this new offering.
