Do you have an innovative public health idea? Submit it to the CUNY SPH Student Innovation Challenge! Held in conjunction with National Public Health Week (April 4 10), the Challenge, now in its second year, is designed to bring out creative ideas to tackle the public health problems of the 21st century.
Here are the Guidelines:
We”re looking for a two-page concept paper, e-mailed to Dr. Ashish Joshi, Assistant Dean of Students, ashish.joshi@sph.cuny.edu, by April 1, 2016.
Please including the following information:
Specify which of the focus area(s) you have chosen and why.
Finally — Be sure to make your solutions “SMART”:
✔Specific
✔Measurable
✔Achievable
✔Relevant
✔Time-bound
The deadline for submission is 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 1.
A select group of finalists will be notified on Tuesday, April 5, and each will be invited to give a 15-minute presentation on Friday, April 8 where they will defend their ideas.
All CUNY SPH students are invited to join us at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy at 55 W 125th Street on April 8 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm to hear finalists pitch their ideas. Light refreshments will be served.
Three winners will receive an award of $250 each and guidance in the form of a continuation plan to facilitate the innovative idea proposed.
