INNOVATION is a new idea that reflects application of better solutions to address new/existing challenges. CUNY School of Public Health is conducting its 1st Public Health Student Innovation Challenge Award to bring out Novel ideas to tackle the public health problems encountered in the 21st century. The initiative to address public health problem should be Specific; Measurable; Achievable; Relevant and Time bound (SMART).
Entries will be received till April 14th 2015. Three winners for this award will be announced during the National Public Health Week. The winners will receive an award of $500 each and a continuation plan will be established to facilitate the innovative idea proposed. The CUNY School of Public Health has broadly chosen 5 focus areas including:
We encourage current Public Health students to submit 2pager innovative; evidence based idea that addresses any of the focus areas listed above. Following topics should be covered;
