Welcome Sera Thomas, SRJ Hub social media manager!

CUNY SPH is excited to welcome Sera Thomas to the staff as the social media manager for the Sexual and Reproductive Justice Hub (SRJ Hub).

With experience supporting communications across academic, nonprofit, and healthcare settings, Sera bridges public health knowledge and digital strategy to develop content that informs, engages, and connects audiences to research, programs, and advocacy.

She holds a Master of Public Health in public health communication and marketing from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in public health from Nova Southeastern University. Her background provides a strong foundation in health communication theory, audience engagement, and digital media strategy, along with the ability to translate public health research into clear, engaging content.

Sera will lead the SRJ Hub’s social media presence across platforms including Instagram and LinkedIn, and oversee online engagement to expand reach and strengthen the Hub’s visibility. Her work ensures clear and consistent messaging while advancing the Hub’s mission through strategic public health communication.
