Paulo H. Lellis appointed chief of staff

Paulo Lellis

We are pleased to announce that Paulo H. Lellis has been appointed chief of staff to Dean Ayman El-Mohandes.

Paulo enters this new and expanded role after serving the Office of the Dean for eight years in various capacities including as an administrative coordinator, administrative specialist, and as project director for the Pandemic Response Institute’s Workforce Capacity and Emergency Preparedness Core.

Paulo joined CUNY SPH in 2016, immediately after the school’s consolidation. Prior to that, he held multiple roles at the New York University Tandon School of Engineering, where he provided managerial support to graduate academics and advised undergraduate students in the general studies program. Additionally, he has also worked at Hunter College in various positions in advising and student services. Paulo is well known to CUNY, having earned a BA in sociology and a Master of Urban Planning degree from Hunter College.

We are thrilled to have Paulo continue his work with the Office of the Dean to advance CUNY SPH’s educational mission.
