CUNY SPH Librarian Rosemary Farrell awarded Sewell Stipend

CUNY SPH Librarian Rosemary Farrell has been selected to receive a Sewell Stipend to attend the 2024 APHA Annual Meeting.

The Sewell Travel Award for Public Health Committee awards stipends to librarians to participate in the annual conference. The award covers the cost of APHA membership and conference registration and a small stipend to assist with travel and expenses.

The stipend aims to increase librarians’ effectiveness at providing reliable/relevant information to health care professionals in the fields of public health and pharmacy.
