The Office of Experiential Learning and Career Services welcomes Maya Lloyd to CUNY SPH in the role of Student Career Program Manager.
Before joining CUNY SPH, Maya was the Director of Outreach & Engagement at a non-profit domestic violence agency in Westchester County. She managed several of the agency’s programs and provided supportive services to survivors, including direct counseling, advocacy, and support group facilitation. Utilizing her training in public health, Lloyd promoted domestic violence education and awareness throughout communities, and studied the intersection of intimate partner violence and public health during her time as an MPH student. Lloyd received her MPH from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and a BS in Health Sciences from Stony Brook University.
In her spare time, Lloyd enjoys attending concerts, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. She also serves as a mentor for young girls in her hometown of White Plains, NY.
