The CUNY SPH Communications Department is pleased to welcome Chrissy Holman (she/her) to our team as a Digital Communications Manager.

Chrissy is a queer mental health advocate and community organizer from NYC on a quest to improve access to quality, trauma-informed, social justice-focused mental healthcare. She joins CUNY SPH after two and a half years of serving public interest at the CUNY School of Law, where she created content and media for burgeoning social justice lawyers.

For the last four years, Chrissy has directed communications for the American Psychological Association’s Committee on Consensual Non-Monogamy through Division 44, the Society for the Psychology of Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity. 

Chrissy leads national workshops on a variety of sexual health topics including asexuality, relationship diversity, ethics, negotiation, alternative sexualities, and LGBT2QIA+ issues. She is an advocate for the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom and for the Woodhull Freedom Foundation, and her work has appeared in classrooms via the Sexual Health Alliance, Bustle and Psychology Todayamong others. 

Before entering the nonprofit world, Chrissy was an award-winning publicist for Sony Music for over a decade. She holds an MS in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University and a BA in Psychology and Ethics from Hunter College.
