Development Manager Cara Flynn awarded New York Community Trust fellowship

CUNY SPH Development Manager Cara Flynn was accepted to the New York Community Trust Leadership Fellows Fall 2022 Cohort.

Leadership Fellows New York is a professional development opportunity for mid-career nonprofit practitioners in the metropolitan New York City region. The fellowship program represents a diverse, inclusive, and talented community of nonprofit leaders who are advancing social justice missions in New York and beyond.

Cara has been a development professional since 2013, and has served in roles at a youth career development organization and a Gramercy area, K-8 school for children diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Prior to joining CUNY SPH in October 2021, Cara served as a fundraising consultant to the CUNY SPH Foundation. Cara works with her colleagues on board candidate identification and research, and sourcing new funding opportunities from foundations, corporations and individuals.

Cara has completed graduate level fundraising coursework​ at New York University and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals-NYC Chapter.
