Nicholas Freudenberg, Distinguished Professor of Public Health at City University of New York Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy (CUNY SPH), published a commentary in the latest issue of the Journal of Public Health Policy on ToxicsDocs, a new website created by Columbia University and CUNY that allows researchers, students and advocates to search twenty million pages of documents from the chemical, asbestos, lead and other industries, that have become open to the public in lawsuit discovery. “ToxicDocs is an important new resources for those who want to document harmful practices of corporations,” explained Freudenberg. “It will provide evidence to inform policies to prevent such harm in the future.”
