Join the CUNY Center for Immigrant, Refugee and Global Health (CIRGH) and the CUNY Urban Food Policy Institute (UFPI) for the first session of a three-part series exploring Universal Health Coverage (UHC) as both a local and global public health priority.
Ahead of the 2027 High-Level Meeting (HLM) on Universal Health Care, the series provides a platform for key stakeholders advancing strategies to achieve UHC, and connects research, practice, and policy to accelerate progress toward the 2030 UHC targets set in the Sustainable Development Goals.
Webinar #1 Overview: This webinar will introduce strategies and challenges for achieving UHC by 2030, examine how outcomes from the recent high-level meeting on non-communicable diseases (NCDs) can advance the process, and explore how academic institutions like CUNY SPH can promote and support countries to achieve UHC.
