The systems science journal club is a monthly meeting space for CUNY SPH students and faculty to come together and learn more about systems modeling methods and discuss their applications to public health research.
This club meets once per month to discuss a selected systems science-related journal article, book chapter, news article, etc. The club will also be hosting other types of events in future meetings, including guest speakers, seminars, and workshop events.
On Thursday, July 7 from 1-2pm we will be meeting over zoom to discuss the following article:
“Using system dynamics to develop policies that matter: global management of poliomyelitis and beyond” by Kimberly M. Thompson & Radboud J. Duintjer Tebbens
We hope you can join us! Please RSVP to this event using the provided Eventbrite link, where you will gain access to the zoom link for the meeting along with a link to the article.
This event is open to all CUNY SPH students and faculty. Our goal is to make this an open space for anyone interested in exploring systems science methods, regardless of prior experience.
