The systems science journal club is a monthly meeting space for CUNY SPH students and faculty to come together and learn more about systems modeling methods and discuss their applications to public health research.
This club will meet once per month to discuss a selected systems science-related journal article, book chapter, news article, etc. The club will also be hosting other types of events in future meetings, including guest speakers, seminars, and workshop events.
On April 14 from 1-2pm we will be meeting over zoom to discuss the following article:
“Do you bend or break? System dynamics in resilience planning for food security” by Hugo Jose Herrera de Leon & Birgit Kopainsky

This event is open to all CUNY SPH students and faculty. Our goal is to make this an open space for anyone interested in exploring systems science methods, regardless of prior experience.
