Are you interested in exploring careers that center on queer advocacy and inclusion?

Counseling and Wellness Services, in collaboration with Career Services, are hosting a workshop designed to provide students and alumni with valuable insights, tools, and guidance for thriving in queer-centered career paths.

The event will feature a panel discussion with:

  • Lex Pe’er Horwitz (he/they): Nationally recognized LGBTQ+ educator, consultant, and public speaker, with a focus on fostering inclusive environments and advancing LGBTQIA+ advocacy in diverse settings.
  • Dr. Spring Cooper (she/they): Associate Professor at CUNY SPH and social researcher specializing in public health, health promotion, and sexuality, with a career spanning international research and teaching.
  • Angel Soba (he/they): Social Justice Programs Coordinator passionate about amplifying marginalized voices and implementing community-driven solutions through youth engagement and food justice initiatives.

This is an incredible opportunity to learn from experts, gain inspiration, and connect with others passionate about LGBTQIA+ advocacy and careers.
