The Elmhurst Executive Administration Internship is a career developing opportunity that allows students to work closely with Executive leadership to learn how decisions are made, develop practical workflow processes to help improve the hospital, and experience a great way to learn about the world of healthcare administration.
During the three-month program, students interact with various members of the hospital through placements across departments including Ambulatory Care, Quality and Regulatory, Ancillary Services, Patient Experience, and Finance. Interns gain insight into the work of leadership and refine their skills within their department.
Interns’ contributions are valuable and truly impact the NYC H+H overall mission of providing patients with quality care, regardless of their ability to pay. Open to current CUNY SPH students who will still be enrolled at the start of the program in Summer 2026.
