Current CUNY SPH Masters and Doctorate students from all concentrations are eligible to apply to the Cancer Epidemiology Education in Special Populations (CEESP) program – an NIH/NCI grant-funded research training program developed in 2006 by CUNY School of Medicine to foster public health careers in Cancer Epidemiology and Cancer Prevention and Control.
Attend this info session to learn about the program details and application process. HPAM student Maria Urrea Suescun will speak to us about her own global CEESP project, “Cancer mortality by ethnicity in Colombia between 2011 and 2022: A population-based study”, which examined cancer mortality rates in Colombia among Indigenous, Rom, Raizal, Afro-Colombian, and Mestizo ethnic groups.
Registration for this event is on Handshake. For assistance, contact CareerServices@sph.cuny.edu.
