Join us for an interactive conversation with Dr. Karmen Williams, Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management, whose teaching and research focus on public and population health informatics, system-level data integration, and health equity.
With experience spanning public health leadership, informatics education, and postdoctoral research on patient-centered data systems and dental–medical record integration, Dr. Williams brings a multidisciplinary perspective to understanding how health systems and data intersect.
She is also actively involved with the American Medical Informatics Association and serves as Director of ‘For Your Informatics’, a podcast led by Women in AMIA that highlights careers, innovation, and representation in STEM and informatics.
This informal session offers students and alumni the chance to ask questions, learn from her professional journey, and connect in a relaxed, conversational setting.
