In conjunction with the New York Blood Center, CUNY SPH is hosting a blood drive on February 25, 12pm-6pm. We want to do our part to help save lives in our community.
Donation appointments are now available.
Donating blood is easy, safe, and convenient. It takes only about one hour of your time and each donation can save up to three lives. Your donation can help cancer patients, accident victims, people undergoing surgery, women during childbirth, people with sickle cell disease and many more.
All persons who are in good health, 17 years or older, and who weigh at least 110 pounds are potentially eligible to donate. Find more information about eligibility, how to prepare, and what to expect here.
We’re excited to have the Psi Lambda Lambda Chapter “Gotham City Ques” and the Xi Phi Chapter “Harlem Ques” of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity returning as partners in this year’s blood drive, who are supporting our drive by pledging to donate.
