Come hear from CEESP-CUNY SPH alumni share about their experience! CUNY School of Medicine in collaboration with CUNY SPH are actively seeking CUNY SPH students to apply to their Cancer Epidemiology Education in Special Populations (CEESP) program. The CEESP Program is a research training program funded by the NIH/NCI grant to develop careers of public health students from all schools and programs of public health in the U.S. in the field of cancer epidemiology and cancer prevention and control.

The CEESP Program provides funding for students to travel and conduct mentored cancer research internships in foreign countries and U.S. minority settings. Accepted students will receive stipends (up to $7,200/student) from the CESSP Program for their work.

Current MPH and Doctoral CUNY SPH students from all departments and concentrations are eligible to apply and receive funding from CEESP. Students interested in different public health areas and topics can explore how to link their primary focal area to the CEESP eligibility criteria. The program is available to U.S. citizens and permanent residents as well as international students. This program can be utilized as a fieldwork site and dissertation or pre-dissertation research for doctoral students.
