CIMH Fall 2017 Mental Health Methods Seminar 2: Qualitative and Mixed Methods in Implementation Research: Finding the Right Balance November 13, 2017, Room 822, 4-5:30 PM The growing popularity of implementation research has highlighted the importance of qualitative and mixed-methods in understanding theadoption of evidence-based interventions in diverse settings. Dr. Padgett will offer strategies and recommendations to support the use and integration of quantitative and qualitative methods to advance implementation science. Dr. Deborah K. Padgett has a doctorate in anthropology and is a professor at the Silver School of Social Work at New York University. Dr. Padgetthas written extensively on mental health services for underserved populations and is known for her expertise in qualitative/mixed methods and the ‘housing first’ approach to ending homelessness.
