Join us for a three-part series of book talks celebrating the launch of the second edition of the anthology, Birthing Justice: Black Women, Pregnancy, and Childbirth. Each part will feature a panel discussion with the anthology co-editor and contributors, moderated by the event host. The panelists will articulate how their contributions propel the ongoing movements for birthing and reproductive justice.

About this talk:

This third talk in the series will be held in Brooklyn and is co-hosted by the Sexual & Reproductive Justice Hub at CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy, Black Women Birthing Justice, Ancient Song, and Maternal and Adolescent Health Safety Alliance. This book talk will feature a panel with the book co-editor Dr. Chinyere Oparah, and contributing authors Dr. Sayida Peprah-Wilson, Michelle Drew, and Dr. Griselda Rodriguez Solomon, with Chanel Porchia Albert serving as moderator.
