Friday, April 24, 2026
8:00 am – 5:00 pm

The 46th Annual Scientific Meeting, co-hosted by CUNY SPH and held at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, marks 25 years since September 11 and examines how occupational safety and health (OSH) has evolved in the decades since.

Bringing together leading experts from NIOSH, NIEHS, academia, and industry, the program highlights major advances in disaster response research, workplace mental health, construction safety, infectious disease surveillance, and the integration of the Total Worker Health® approach to promote overall worker well-being.

The meeting reflects on lessons learned since 9/11 while exploring emerging challenges and future directions in protecting worker health and resilience. The event is supported by the NY/NJ Education and Research Center through NIOSH funding.

All CUNY SPH faculty, students, and staff are welcome to attend. Use this link to register.
