Ivonne Quiroz, MPH, CPH is currently a doctoral candidate at CUNY SPH studying Community Health and Health Policy.
Her research interests include food, culture and health, specifically looking at non-charitable food access strategies of communities of color. She also is an adjunct professor at CUNY SPH, teaching courses on health communication, community organizing and health advocacy. She earned her Master’s degree in Public Health at the University of California, Irvine and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, with a Minor in Latino Studies from San Francisco State University. In her down time, she runs, hangs out with her dog and reads and watches science fiction, fantasy and horror media.
