CUNY SPH is delighted to welcome Isabella Villa Real Seabra to the staff as the social media manager for the Sexual and Reproductive Justice Hub (SRJ Hub).
Isabella is a dedicated reproductive justice and human rights organizer and researcher with a deep commitment to advancing equitable access to reproductive healthcare. Her work lies at the intersections of reproductive justice and public health where she advocates for policies that respect and uphold bodily autonomy and individual freedoms.
At CUNY SPH, she is a first-year MPH student and president of the SPH Repro Club. As an abortion storyteller with We Testify and Youth Testify, a project of Advocates for Youth, Isabella amplifies personal narratives to reduce stigma and promote understanding around abortion access. In addition, she volunteers with the New York Abortion Access Fund (NYAAF) and the DC Abortion Fund (DCAF), where she supports individuals in overcoming financial and logistical barriers to accessing care.
