CUNY SPH is delighted to welcome Prea V. Khan to the Communications team as the social media manager.
A CUNY SPH alumna, Prea graduated with her MPH in health policy and management in 2023 and holds a bachelor of science in biomolecular science from NYU Tandon School of Engineering, where she served as program coordinator of Tandon’s biomolecular science work-study program from 2018 to 2020. She is also a proud member of Alpha Omega Epsilon sorority’s Beta Sigma Chapter.
Prea is currently the program manager of the CUNY SPH Harlem Health Initiative, where she provides technical assistance and capacity building to community organizations and develops communications projects, including HHI’s Get-Out-the-Vote campaign. During her MPH career, Prea joined the Harlem Health Initiative team in 2022 as one of CUNY SPH’s Gil Addo Fellows, and she now serves as project manager for HHI’s Public Health Webinar Series, Cannabis Corner subseries, and the Community Engagement Impact Project. Her passion lies in improving equitable healthcare access in historically underserved communities, addressing disparities in health literacy, and enhancing patient outcomes, with a commitment to becoming a medical professional.
Please join us in welcoming Prea to this new role. She can be reached at Prea.Khan@sph.cuny.edu.
