CUNY SPH is delighted to welcome Mr. Jason Gaines as associate director of human resources.
Jason has a strong background in human capital management and a deep understanding of CUNY HR policies, bringing a wealth of experience and strategic leadership to the role. Prior to joining CUNY SPH, Jason held key positions in human resources at Lehman College, where he worked for 17 years, optimizing HR processes, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting organizational development.
In his new role with CUNY SPH, Jason will be responsible for overseeing certain HR operations, such as talent acquisition, employee relations, automation, and compliance. He will leverage his expertise to ensure that HR practices align with CUNY SPH’s mission and values.
Jason currently holds a master of science degree in organizational leadership and certifications in EQ, leadership, and management, which have provided him with a solid foundation in HR management and organizational leadership. With his commitment to professional development and passion for higher education, he will be a valuable asset to the CUNY SPH community.
