Mollie Braaten

CUNY SPH is delighted to welcome Mollie Braaten, who joins us as our new academic affairs manager. Mollie has extensive experience in global health, program management, training and student program coordination, and nonprofit operations. She previously worked as a project manager at One Medical, a human-centered and tech-focused primary care practice, and as a senior project portfolio manager at ICAP at Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health. At ICAP, she managed CDC-funded research projects and evaluations related to HIV prevention and treatment in 10 countries across three continents.

Mollie has also supported student engagement in prior roles – working with graduate students at Mailman and with fellows at Global Health Corps.

Mollie received an MSc in global health and public policy from the University of Edinburgh and a BA in sociology with a concentration in social and health advocacy from SUNY Purchase. For her master’s degree capstone project, Mollie conducted a program evaluation for Waverley Care’s community-based outreach program for people living with Hepatitis C in Glasgow.

Please join us in welcoming Mollie to our CUNY SPH team!
