Please join us in welcoming Chanel D. Weathers, who began as a Program Consultant at the CUNY SPH Career Skills Academy on April 25. She will be working to increase our partnerships with employers and assisting in getting the mid-career track of CSA off the ground.
Chanel has worked in the field of social services for 15 years. Ten of those years has been dedicated to providing education, career services, and professional development to students, professionals, and those in between. She specializes in resume writing, job and business development, and soft skills to better help and prepare job seekers in their chosen career fields.
Chanel has helped young adults, nontraditional students, those continuing education, traditional students, as well as professionals in the private and nonprofit sector.
She received her Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Albany State University in Albany Georgia and her Master’s in Public Administration from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She is currently pursuing her Master of Mental Health and Wellness Counseling degree at New York University.
