We are seeking a full time, experienced Attorney or Policy Analyst for our Washington, D.C. office. The position will involve a broad range of advocacy on Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act (ACA), and other low-income health care programs, with a particular focus on reproductive and sexual health, and through a reproductive justice lens. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the Medicaid program at the national or state level, knowledge of the Affordable Care Act, and have experience as a reproductive and sexual health, rights, or justice advocate.
This candidate will think proactively and strategically and respond quickly to changing circumstances; have an interest in and willingness to listen and learn in partnership with federal and state advocates; demonstrate strong leadership, communication, research, and writing skills; and be able to work individually and in teams. The Attorney or Policy Analyst will help to develop and implement NHeLP’s legal, policy, and advocacy strategies for advancing access to quality reproductive and sexual health, focusing on national policy strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience working within underserved communities and will demonstrate an understanding of the issues of reproductive justice as they impact people with low-income, BIPOC women, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, and other underserved populations.

The Healthy Eating Unit within the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygienes (DOHMH) Bureau of Chronic Disease Prevention is seeking a temporary Project Coordinator to support the Farm to Preschool Program (F2P) and the Champion Initiative. Both programs are components of the Eat Well Play Hard in Child Care Settings (EWPHCCS) grant, funded by the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed) via a contract with New York State Health Department. The F2P Program engages with families, children, and staff at eligible childcare centers to influence healthy eating habits and food environments at the center, in the home, and in the community. This is achieved by supporting centers with gardening activities, nutrition education, and making local foods more affordable and accessible. The Champion Initiative is a policy, systems and environmental change intervention that supports eligible group childcare centers with creating and enhancing environments that support healthy eating and physical activity practices, including menu improvements, nutrition and physical activity policy development, and nutrition education and physical activity in the classroom.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Project Coordinator will join a large team and support coordination of the F2P Program and several aspects of the Champion Initiative. From November until February, the Project Coordinator will work approximately 21 hours per week to support the F2P Coordinator and the EWPHCCS Program Manager with coordination and planning activities for the F2P Program and Champion Initiative. From February through September, the Project Coordinator will work approximately 35 hour per week and be responsible for additional administrative duties, working closely with F2P partner centers, and coordinating the work of a team of part-time educators as they implement programming at childcare centers. This position will report to the EWPHCCS Program Manager and will be located at the NYC Health Department, 42-09 28th Street, LIC, Queens, NY. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some work may be conducted remotely until further notice. This paid position is part-time and temporary, 21-35 hours per week, starting in the fall of 2021 and is funded until the end of September 2022.
COMPENSATION
This is a part-time position, 21-35 hours per week. The pay rate is $34.50/hour.

Summary

Duties

- Provide senior-level expertise in establishing a strategic D&I workforce development and succession plan that aligns with CDC/ATSDR, CSTLTS, HRO procedures and guidelines.
- Review agency D&I policies and activities that could be considered barriers while collaborating with CSTLTS and CDC stakeholders to recommend effective D&I policy- and guidance-related revisions based upon organizational climate analysis.
- Provide guidance where needed to support D&I initiatives and work with internal and external resources.

Position Summary:
The Division of Biostatistics in Weill Cornell Medicine’s Department of Population Health Sciences is seeking a Research Biostatistician I to join its team that provides programming and statistical support to faculty researchers throughout Weill Cornell Medicine. Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for database design programming, database management and assistance with study design.

POSITION: Program Manager

The mHealth Program Manager will assist Sentient Research staff in developing and evaluating an innovative, holistic app and website to support young Black gay/bisexual men living with HIV in all areas of life. This national-level program is being designed to: improve HIV care outcomes by providing a range of content and tools and facilitating support with care providers; improve other areas of physical health, mental health, social support, and overall well-being; and reduce the impact of HIV-related stigma.
Duties will include working in close collaboration with young Black gay/bisexual men and service providers across the country, conducting human-centered design research activities with these audiences, developing engaging content (e.g., facilitating video production, writing articles), and assisting with managing the technology aspects of the program.* Most of the program development will occur in the first year of the project, and a small randomized controlled trial will occur in the second year to evaluate program impact. Through other grants and direct client contracts, PCDC also provides training and technical assistance to a broad array of provider organizations to integrate behavioral health (mental health and substance use) and sexual and reproductive services to meet the multi-faceted needs of their clients in a patient-centered, whole-person care manner. The Senior Project Manager will support providers to integrate these services into one holistic model.
Under the direction of the HIP Project Director and through active collaboration with colleagues, the Senior Project Manager is expected to deliver T/TA in the areas of HIV testing, prevention to gender affirming communities, and broader service integration. We are seeking a senior (Associate or Full Professor) research-focused faculty member for a tenured or tenure track, Regular Title Series, full time (12 month) position in the Center for Health Equity Transformation (CHET) in the College of Medicine at the University of Kentucky. We seek a health equity research leader with a dynamic, productive research agenda that aims to eliminate inequities in cancer, cardiovascular disease, dementia and other related neurological conditions, diabetes and obesity, substance use, or other health conditions. CHET is a transdisciplinary research and training center focused on developing the most innovative and impactful research and training portfolio. This position is part of a university-wide interdisciplinary cluster hire in health equity.
Candidates will have a focus on rural, racial/ethnic, and other populations experiencing health inequities; leadership and administrative experience; expertise in research mentorship, and capacity to contribute to a vibrant environment of scholars from the behavioral sciences, public health, social sciences, communication, health services research, biomedical informatics, health sciences (nursing, medicine, nutrition, etc.), and others. Special emphasis is placed on intervention, dissemination, and implementation scientists with an NIH-funded research portfolio. Position Description
