Congratulations, Dr. Erika Tullberg!

Erika Tullberg

On November 20 Erika Tullberg, a PhD student in the Community Health and Health Policy track, successfully defended her dissertation, “What Happened to this Child? Identifying Factors that Influence the Identification and Categorization of Child Maltreatment in the United States.” Her committee was chaired by Associate Professor Diana Romero, with Assistant Professors Meredith Manze and Alexis Pozen serving as committee members.

“One of the best parts of my CUNY SPH experience has been the knowledge and support I have received from so many of my classmates,” Tullberg says. “This program is full of smart, talented people. I have learned so much from those I’ve had the privilege of being in class with, and received guidance and encouragement from an even broader group during my dissertation writing process. I also want to give a special thanks to Wendy Vaughon and McKaylee Robertson, who were instrumental to my dissertation research – a million thanks to both of you!”

Tullberg is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
