Facilitated by the Office of Emergency Preparedness & Response (OEPR) at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), the Pipeline to Preparedness Fellowship Program is designed to introduce the future public health workforce to the field of public health emergency preparedness and response.
OEPR focuses on recruiting students from diverse backgrounds at CUNY schools to participate in a 10-month long fellowship (July 2025 to April 2026) where students work on projects under a preceptor in OEPR and have an opportunity to learn about the work of the Division and the broader agency. In doing so, fellows will advance the work of OEPR while gaining a broad and practical understanding of the field of public health emergency preparedness and response and the career opportunities available across OEPR and DOHMH. Register for this info session to learn more about the program’s application process and offerings, and hear from former fellows as they share their own experiences.
This event is open to current CUNY SPH students.
