Employer Discovery Series: NYS Department of Civil Service Centers for Careers in Government

Did you know that under the NY HELPS program, the civil service examination previously required to apply for civil service jobs is waived? Right now, jobseekers who meet minimum qualifications, and any other conditions of employment for a position, can apply directly without being required to take a civil service examination making this the best time to look for opportunities in public service! Attend this info session to learn about career opportunities and internships available across New York State agencies, the application process, merit system, benefits, and more. Open to all CUNY SPH students and alumni.
