Position summary
The Senior Digital Communications Assistant will support the Communications team’s outreach and educational efforts, with particular focus on providing project support to the digital communications team, tracking, and analyzing the impact of the Institute’s work, assisting in dissemination activities and social media monitoring, and helping to inform, develop and monitor the Guttmacher Institute’s online communications strategy.
Responsibilities
- Assist Digital Communications Manager, Senior Digital Communications Manager and Principal Digital Strategist with social media management, including monitoring the way the Institute and SRHR issues are discussed on active channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube), maintaining content calendar and tracking capabilities;
- Help develop and execute digital content concepts, including email outreach, website postings, social media campaigns and graphics;
- Regularly analyze website traffic to identify opportunities to better serve the needs of website visitors and maximize the presentation of Guttmacher’s work online;
- Develop strategies based on email list metrics to increase subscriber growth and engagement;
- Make recommendations for optimizing Guttmacher’s website based on observed relationships among social media performance, online marketing efforts, email outreach and website publishing tactics;
- Assist with website and social media content development, curation and maintenance and contribute to development and implementation of website optimizations and projects to improve the experiences of website visitors as well as back-end workflow and functionality;
- Design and implement reports that track key digital communications metrics and provide actionable insights;
- Provide metrics on communications activities for staff, funder and board reports as needed
- Manage media clip tracking and provide media coverage analytics upon request;
- Educate and train staff across divisions on performance metrics as needed.
Salary range: $54,000 to $81,000

POSITION: Program Manager: Chronic Disease

DOHMH is seeking a Program Manager: Chronic Disease and COVID-19 Neighborhood Equity Initiative to align multiple streams of COVID-19 prevention and recovery and chronic disease prevention work until June 2024.
The Program Manager will align activities, timelines, and deliverables across multiple workstreams in the borough and support work on mapping and evaluation of the work being completed. This position is based in our Brooklyn office in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

- Reentry Health Care Hub Program Assistant is a full-time position helping to coordinate referrals linking patients leaving state prison to community primary care. This PA will manage a referral database, correspond with partners, and perform data collection and administrative tasks to support program operations. Desired skills include excellent organization, computer skills, and experience managing data, as well as ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team and a commitment to improving health of individuals and communities impacted by mass incarceration. POSITION: Developmental Associate
ORGANIZATION: Weill Cornell Medicine
Under direction, assists in the cultivation, management, and stewardship of prospects and donors, as well as the planning and execution of fundraising activities.
Job Responsibilities
- Manages major gifts and/or prospects using fundraising software. Maintains information and data integrity within the fundraising system.
- Generates reports and queries to be used to analyze program effectiveness, identify donor candidates for upgrade and identify trends using fundraising software.
- Assists donors, prospects, and VIPs with patient referrals, admissions, inquiries, and complaints.
- Maintains knowledge of all WCM Capital Campaign priorities including goals and dollars raised.
- Drafts materials for donors including proposals, briefings, stewardship reports, budgets, special acknowledgments, invitations, and other correspondences.
- Assists with staffing special fundraising committees and panels. Drafts agendas, minutes, speaking points, and supporting materials for these materials.
- Coordinates various special events and handles arrangements, briefing packages, travel arrangements and RSVPs.
- Researches demographic, biographic, asset, wealth, relationship, and activity information for donors and other constituents.
- Alongside gift officers, meets with faculty leadership and volunteer leadership to identify prospects, prepares for presentations, and reviews solicitations. Manages debriefs of meetings and completions of action items.

EXPERIENCE (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
- Minimum Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- Approximately 2-3 years of prior related experience.
- Previous capital campaign experience at large medical center, non-profit or university desired.
- Familiarity with general principles of development.
- Poise, comfort and confidentiality dealing with prominent individuals (e.g., donors, executives, senior academic/faculty) from a range of cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to treat confidential information with utmost discretion.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, fundraising database applications and email marketing experience (ex. Constant Contact, Mailchimp).
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with other staff.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
- Some evening and weekend work may be required.
- Occasional travel within NYC may be necessary.
