CUNY SPH faculty awarded fellowship from University of Alcal in Spain

The professors will travel to Madrid for eight weeks in 2019 to work with UAH faculty on research initiatives.
The fellowship is targeted towards internationally-recognized investigators to strengthen research collaborations within the departments and institutes at UAH and to promote collaborations with international universities. The fellowship is given to 20 investigators every year. The awards facilitate collaborations as part of a memorandum of understanding between UAH and CUNY SPH.
Dr. Romero is Associate Professor of Community Health and Social Sciences. Dr. Borrell chairs the department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics and was recently named Distinguished Professor by the CUNY Board of Trustees.
