DESCRIPTION:All current CUNY SPH students are welcome to join Dr. Dave Chokshi’s Virtual Office Hour. Meet Dr. Chokshi\, learn about his work\, and share about your academic and professional pursuits. \nDr. Dave Chokshi is a Senior Scholar at CUNY SPH. He was the 43rd Commissioner of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene where he led New York City’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic\, including its historic campaign to vaccinate more than six million New Yorkers\, saving tens of thousands of lives. Dr. Chokshi also designed treatment strategies\, navigated school and economic reopenings\, and served as principal public spokesperson.
