Join the Sexual and Reproductive Justice Hub and Center for Immigrant, Refugee, and Global Health at CUNY SPH for our next SRJ Voices session — a conversation between Terry McGovern, Kemi Akinfaderin, and Veronica Brown. This webinar will discuss the UN80 initiative’s proposal to merge UNFPA and UN Women and assess the implications for global gender equality and sexual and reproductive health and rights.

Terry McGovern, JD, is the Senior Associate Dean for Student and Academic Affairs at CUNY SPH. She is a globally recognized human rights lawyer and scholar whose work advances gender justice and sexual and reproductive health and rights across international health and human rights arenas.

Fadekemi (Kemi) Akinfaderin is the Chief Global Advocacy Officer at Fòs Feminista, leading the Global Advocacy for Change Unit, and brings more than 20 years of experience advancing sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice through leadership roles at organizations including the Equality Fund, PROSPERA, RESURJ, and the International Women’s Health Coalition.

Veronica Brown is a coordinator with The Women’s Major Group, a global collective of feminists making sure women, girls, and gender-diverse people can lead the way on climate action and equality. She is an international development professional with over a decade of experience.
